Fourth of July is almost here! And we have the perfect lashes to bring this year’s festivities up a notch. No, seriously. They’re PERFECT for Fourth of July.
Bonnie and I decided to each do our own Fourth of July looks with these colorful lashes. Here’s the result:
(If you’re wondering, no, that’s not the same person. If it were, this person would have a horribly asymmetrical face. Those are actually two separate people who happen to be twins. Fraternal twins. One of them is me!)
Yes, it’s a bit over-the-top, but this is a fun, over-the-top party lash. So we went out and killed it. We even dressed in the all-American Hanes® brand white ribbed tank top! Haha!
Here’s my look:
Tip: Use a dark, thick false eyelash as a base lash underneath colorful ones to make your eyes appear larger and more defined. Here, I used Elegant Lashes 15 Brown as my base lashes.
Here is Bonnie’s look:
The product photos don’t do these lashes justice. <– (Haha, tongue twister!) They’re absolutely gorgeous and so vibrantly colored, plus they maintain their curved shape when removed from the tray which makes application so much easier.
But it doesn’t stop there. What’s even better about these lashes is the fact
that they GLOW. IN. THE. DARK!!
The glow-in-the-dark strips glow brightly and are vivid in real life, but for some reason they don’t photograph very well. So we bought a blacklight and had a little fun.
Just to let you know, Bonnie never wore an eyelash on her right side (because I was using it. Haha!), so that’s why there’s no right eyelash in the left pic. That’s also the reason why she’s covering her right eye in the other picture.
Fun, right? (Say yes.) You get two completely different and totally fun looks from one great eyelash. This is so going to make your day/night a memorable one.
If our white wig and crazy makeup is too much for you, here’s a more wearable(?) look. This is basically no makeup with just crazy eyelashes. (I’m still wearing Elegant Lashes 15 Brown as base lashes. It really does help. It also helps having a camera with “pretty mode.” )
So! You’ve seen our looks. What did you think? And how would you wear these lashes (if at all)??
