So, I’m gonna be honest by admitting to you guys that this look is a bit old (four months old to be exact). But with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I figured there was no better time to post this look than now. I mean, loosely curled ruby red hair with a lacey white dress? It just screams Valentine’s Day, no? Okay, maybe I’m just starting to associate anything red-and-white with Valentine’s Day. =P
But I digress.
Lashes do amazing things for my face and they can do the same for you, too. I actually used three pairs of eyelashes to achieve this look: two different lashes on the top, and a pair of under/bottom/lower lashes on the bottom. Surprising how you can wear so many lashes and yet look so natural.
I’ve had my eye on the M519 lashes for a while since I really wanted to give myself that nice cartoon-y look that gyaru girls have. I don’t think I’ll ever wear this style alone since my natural lashes kinda suck and honestly, I think it was made to be layered over other lashes anyway. So, to give myself some much-needed volume and length, I used a pair of #109 Black lashes.
To round out the look, I used #133 Black lashes (my favorite under lashes!!) on the bottom. If you notice, I placed it below my actual lash line to create the illusion of rounder and more doe-like eyes. Pretty cool, huh? 😉
I can’t wait to wear the M519 lashes again! I love that it’s just a bunch of really clean spikes instead of more volume all around. Makes layering lashes so much more fun! XD
