I was browsing the false eyelash selection at my local Sally’s Beauty Supply and saw this pair of Ardell lashes called Gisele, which were retailing for $5-6 dollars.
And all I could think was, “Dude, this looks exactly like one of our lashes!” Except, of course, you can get 2 or 3 pairs of Elegant Lashes® falsies for the price of one Ardell lash. Time for another lash dupe blog!! ^O^
Have you ever tried a product just because everyone else was
raving about it and you wanted to know what all the hype was about?
I’ve done that. And I don’t regret it.
As co-owner of FalseEyelashesSite.com and having worked with Elegant Lashes® for years, I take notice of what people buy, and the #220 lashes seem to be a pretty popular choice among makeup artists and non-professionals alike.
(Here’s what they look like, in case you were curious.)
I found a great alternative (or “dupe,” as the makeup community calls it) to the super popular Ardell 105 lashes! Elegant Lashes 82 has the same.. err… chromosome(?)-looking knot shape at the band, and the length and style are practically identical. Elegant Lashes 82 lashes are a tiny bit denser, but they’re still strikingly similar to Ardell 105.
